How you'll make an impact:The ideal candidate for the Technical Program Manager position will leverage their expertise in managing software development teams to spearhead the creation of new software features and products that facilitate customer integration of *** 360L technology platform, products, software, and tools into existing automotive systems and designs.

What you'll do: As a Technical Program Manager, one of the primary responsibilities will be to oversee the development and execution of software for *** entertainment platform. It is crucial that the Technical Program Manager ensures that the team delivers all the necessary components required for the successful implementation of software.
To achieve this, the Technical Program Manager should conduct regular meetings with relevant stakeholders (internal and external), keep track of progress, provide status updates to senior management, and ensure that milestones are achieved within the timeframe and budget. It is essential to be innovative and agile while enabling the team to deliver high-quality software that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
Moreover, the Technical Program Manager should ensure the software development process's efficiency by identifying and improving processes, enhancing the development pipeline, and collaborating with senior management in modeling projects leading to inspiring problem-solving methods.

The duties of the position will include but are not limited to:
- Leading cross-functional project teams from development to release, ensuring that projects meet their objectives and are delivered on time and with adequate quality
- Developing project plans, schedules, and milestones, and regularly monitoring and reporting on progress to key stakeholders
- Identifying and mitigating project risks and proactively identifying potential challenges and developing contingency plans
- Ensuring that software development and testing processes are carried out effectively, with a focus on sustainability, reliability, and high-quality standards
- Managing the software development lifecycle, from concept through implementation, deployment, and maintenance
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders (including software engineers, product managers, and senior management) to drive successful project outcomes and ensure alignment with broader organizational objectives
- Researching and evaluating new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies to improve the performance and efficiency of software development teams
- Developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external teams and 3rd party contractors to support project implementation and deployment, where necessary
- Perform special projects, lab/field testing, and other duties as necessary.
What you'll need:- BS Engineering, Engineering Management, or equivalent experience.
- SAFe 5 Agile certification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in software development and prior experience in a program management role within the software industry is a must.
- Strong technical knowledge is essential, including experience working with programming languages, software architecture, and other relevant technical skills.
- Experience with Agile methology including Kanban
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, senior management, and external vendors to ensure the project operates smoothly and stays on track
- The ability to lead a team, develop project plans, monitor progress and budgets, and mitigate risks is critical.
- Significant experience in all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle
- Understanding complex systems, as well as being able to analyze and interpret data.
- Extensive experience with all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle
- Significant experience with Automotive Programs and associated timelines
- Expertise with (Jira, Jama, change management tools, and test tools).
- Experience with testing methodologies, best practices and continuous integration
- Experience with Software Release Management
- Familiarity in one or more of the following areas:
- Familiarity in satellite receiver technology
- Expertise in developing and integrating the *** 360L platform.
- Knowledge of automotive audio and infotainment products such as radio head units, navigation systems, MP3 connectivity, CD players, and telematics systems.
- Proficiency in digital and client/server communications, spanning PC/de *** and internet protocol products, and technology..
- Familiarity with communication security threats and their prevention, particularly in an automotive context, leveraging technologies such as SELinux, QNX, or AAOS.
- Comprehensive understanding of Automotive Development Lifecycles.
- Knowledge of Automotive SPICE methodologies and processes or other Software methodologies.
- Experience working in a matrix environment and managing activities across multiple teams in various locations not under direct line management control
