Job Description

Summary:

The Technical Supervisor, Show Electrics works in a collaborative production team environment directly with the Manager and Assistant Technical Manager of Electrics and Show Systems., This position supports the execution of all aspects of show electrical integration including design, development, installation, facility interface, operation, maintenance, and documentation and ensures compliance with codes, and jurisdictional requirements. Must assure a flawless, and successful completion in alignment with creative, financial, and schedule targets for live shows, atmosphere offerings, and special projects in a themed environment.

Essential Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and maintenance of schedules, punch lists, and electrical documents to effectively communicate workload and timeline to other parties.
Ability to independently identify and assign project tasks to complete event installation in a safe, effective, and timely manner while maintaining design intent and show quality.
Identify areas for process and workflow improvements to increase efficiency.
Assist installation electricians and vendors in identifying co *** icts and answering questions, including ensuring the work being completed complies with inspection requirements and deadlines.
Maintain equipment inventory and counts to anticipate any ordering or maintenance needs.
Work with all project disciplines to ensure that electrical requirements are met.
Ensure all disciplines have necessary materials and storage space by submitting and tracking logistics requests..

Crew or crew lead experience in either a theatrical, touring, events, or theme park event production environment.

Ability to work with limited information, constant change, and identify information that is required to complete assigned installation scope.
Confidence to effectively communicate across all lines of business, with all levels of management, and union trade workers.
Strong awareness of Environmental and Electrical Safety standards.
Working in fast-paced environments with accelerated production schedules.
General knowledge of stage/entertainment practices, equipment, and technologies.
Proficient in reading/understanding technical drafting, including both AutoCAD drawings and lighting plots.

Job Description

This position is responsible for providing the leadership, direction and resources to effectively supervise physical plant functions, daily departmental operations and special projects in support of Citywalk and Parking Operations.

Responsibilities

The Production Tax Counsel Team also provides tax planning support to the Entertainment Segment and on tax compliance matters.

The Production Tax Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Production Tax Counsel and enterprise-wide content production in day-to-day operations. This position plays a key role in providing tax ad *** to the business areas involved in content production activities for purposes of tax incentive qualification and mitigation of tax risks consistent with our brand and risk profile. Our productions occur across the globe and this role supports domestic production and INTL production.

What You Will Do:

Plan and implement legal arrangements, legal entity relationships, and day-to-day tax support for the Entertainment Segment in the production of motion pictures and episodic programs
Provide guidance to the Entertainment Segment and Tax on:
- behind camera and front of camera talent-related tax matters in multiple jurisdictions,
- tax considerations of contingent compensation, loan out companies, independent contractors, and employees,
- structure of legal entity transactions and production activities by legal entities to proactively plan for relevant production incentives and applicable threshold for permanent establishment across multiple jurisdictions, and
- cross-border crew/workforce related items and production-related issues (direct tax, withholding tax, indirect tax, relevant treaty analysis, and other tax considerations including impact of union/guild rules)
Legal research, analysis, and memo writing on technical tax matters (e.g., bonus depreciation, income forecast method, compensation arrangements, taxable versus nontaxable legal entity liquidations, consolidated returns, and tax accounting methods)
Provide support to the Production Tax Counsel on material transactions, tax compliance methodologies, and proactive planning (U.S., state and local and INTL with local tax desks)
Preparation of legal agreements for intercompany activities where necessary to qualify for production incentives or to mitigate tax risks

Required Qualifications & Skills:

At least 3-4 years of work experience in an accounting or tax department at a corporation or equivalent experience at a Big 4 accounting firm or similar
Film or TV production budgeting and accounting experience
Substantive U.S. federal income tax experience (research, writing, and compliance)
Quantitative modeling and PowerPoint experience
Income tax accounting familiarity and awareness on material considerations including outside of uncertain tax positions
Project management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Master in Tax and/or Accounting, or LL.M. in tax

*** is seeking a Programming Specialist to join a driven and highly motivated team located in Englewood Cliffs, NJ as part of the Program Operations team in *** Operations. This Specialist role will have a primary focus on Studio Fulfillment and will gain valuable experience in our enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the rest of *** Fulfillment, Product, and Engineering teams across multiple site locations. Duties & Responsibilities:

Oversee ingest and delivery of high-profile feature and episodic content on high visibility deals.
Responsible for ensuring complex workflows are fulfilled correctly, such as Movies Anywhere, Full Package deliveries, LATAM dub card orders, *** 18, etc.
Run daily standup meeting for internal team to discuss agenda items and priority orders.
Manage EST Day And Date Critical order deliveries that must complete to clients by 3PM Eastern daily.
Send at risk SLA emails when necessary for any Day and Date critical order at risk of missing client delivery.
Provide support to Programming Coordinator for complex workflows.
Must have and retain a solid understanding of internal workflows that the coordinator would be trained on.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in a *** or post-production/entertainment environment.
2+ years of experience in a job using computers and software applications including MS outlook, MS Excel and the internet.
2+ years in a role requiring effective communication with diverse audiences, ranging from non-technical senior leadership executives to technical professionals and *** operations staff.
2+ years in a role requiring technical skills within *** management such as understanding and interpreting QC reports, and familiarity with video file specifications.
