Position Summary
The Covid Compliance Officer (CCO) is a trained professional who has a COVID Compliance Certification and who upholds COVID-19 protocols and guidelines on-set under the direction of the Covid Compliance Supervisor. The CCO will be trained in Reel Health COVID response and medically based protocols. CCO’s shall work closely with other members of the Reel Health Team as well as with on-set Production and Security team members to ensure health safety protocols are followed.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Learn and follow Reel Health Safety Protocols and tools designed to maintain on-set safety, including; maintaining zones and pods, sanitization guidelines and proper PPE application
Assist in COVID-19 testing of production cast, crew and Health Safety Team members
Provide screenings to employees, using Reel Health screening and assessments and non-contact infrared thermometers
Follow HIPAA guidelines/regulations while handling confidential information discovered during screening
Provide COVID-19 FAQ’s, data and educational material as needed
Safe-Guard and monitor set to ensure production staff are following preventative practices (proper hygiene, social distancing, etc.)
Put on (don) and remove (doff) personal protective equipment (PPE) per company protocol
Disseminate relevant client/studio policies and information given to us and as directed by the client
Being a general resource to clients and employees
General maintenance of the facility which includes: sanitization of screening station and set as per protocol and at least once per day sterilization of equipment used
Position Requirements
Must have strong English reading, writing and verbal communication skills
Must have strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills
Must have strong technology skills (navigate a cell phone, tablet and applications
Able to learn Reel Health COVID-19 information technology and protocols
Must have reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement may be available in certain circumstances if/when using a personal vehicle)
Must have a smartphone device able to accommodate the Reel Health App. Reasonable reimbursement may be available
Physical Requirements
May be exposed to infectious diseases and other occupational dangers
Requires long periods of standing and/or walking
Must be able to wear the required PPE for 12 hours or more per shift (face mask, eye protection, medical gloves, gown, safety vest, etc.)
Must be able to work in both indoor and outdoor environments and in different climate conditions (rain, snow, heat, cold, etc.).
