Production Manager Position
At TCL Studios, we are building a team to create entertainment programs utilizing the latest AI technologies. To achieve this goal, we are recruiting Hollywood professionals with solid TV and film experience.
The AI technologies we utilize evolve on a regular basis. Currently, the workflows are similar to 3D animation, with some motion capture. There is a great deal of visualization to create the look of scenes. The key difference versus 3D animation, is that the tools are easier to use, but much less precise. The environment is fluid.
Production Management:
This is a broad production management role. In general, this person will manage the workflows associated with translating scripts into finished shows. This position will also be responsible for recruiting VFX, animation, visualization and AI talent from the Hollywood professional community --identifying and recruiting experienced, technically savvy pros with some exposure to AI.
Specifically for our productions, the keys roles are:
1. Supervise team in the execution of animated scenes.
2. Coordinate with producers, writers and directors to execute the creative direction.
3. Manage shot lists, notes, assets (videos, stills, audio).
4. Track team hours and coordinate with production accounting on this tracking.
5. Work closely with the lead production executive to manage all aspects of the production.

- Process images as needed through Capture One
- Includes but not limited to transferring, renaming, attaching metadata, adjusting, backing up & uploading to our DAM Database, and archiving our digital photography.
- Update *** Press site. Upload pre-air and post-air images per show confirming they are "live" on the site with metadata attached. Maintain a consistent look for photography on the press site.
- Receive digital assets directly from photographers and manage the assets throughout all aspects of the project with the team.
- Be the conduit for sending photography to agencies, internal teams and archiving.
- Help maintain and monitor photography budget
- Retouching and color correcting unit and gallery imagery
Basic Qualifications:
- 4-5+ year experience in Digital Asset Management, archiving or library science
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

- Keeps security of assets top of mind and guides team on usage and distribution
- Leads review meetings per timelines for assigned events. Provides agenda points and keeps meetings on track and on time. Recaps meetings and next steps for key stakeholder alignment
- Effectively communicates scope creep or delays in projects that could impact event quality, budget, or delivery timelines
- Maintains an accurate definition of scope and timing for deliverables based on business priorities & event experience expectations
- Manages approvals waterfall for all events, including executive-level approval moments
- Builds relationships across the organization and with outside agencies to drive efficiency, productivity, and executional goals
- Oversees inventory for event supplies in storage unit
