Job Summary/Description:
If going to festivals, being the first to check out a new restaurant, live music, and enjoying sandy beaches is right up your alley, **** has your next career. We are looking for a multi-talented person that understands the importance of branding and producing top-shelf content across traditional and digital platforms to spearhead ****’s lifestyle brand, Cape Fear Weekend, capefearweekend.com, and cape Fear’s social channels.
The ideal candidate must have the ability to write, shoot, edit, and be comfortable in front of the camera. A keen understanding of social *** and how to make content stand out. Quick thinking, self-motivated, and have the drive to discover new and exciting content to cover. Will be responsible for providing revenue-generating ideas.
This is a hybrid lifestyle producer position, and most of the content that is produced lives on our digital platforms (social, website, etc...).
Duties/Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Staying up to date on events in Southeastern North Carolina
- Writing website content
- Having good energy on camera
- Social *** marketing
- Videography and video editing
- Write and edit news-style and vlog-style stories for broadcast and digital platforms
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, film, *** studies or related field preferred, equivalent experience considered
- Experience generating digital content from concept to completion
- Excellent writing, showcasing, and time management skills required
- Ability to work independently
- Working understanding of digital cameras, post-production equipment, and emerging technology
- Current demo reel required, showcasing knowledge and skill level in writing, videography, video editing, and graphic design.
- MVR check required
