The Data Wrangler’s primary responsibility is to offload camera cards safely for Post Production. The Data Wrangler reports to the Director of Photography (DP) and is well-organized, precise, and punctual. They should have extensive knowledge in digital files, formats, proxies, frame rate conversion, and portable media. They should be adaptable, resourceful, and must work well with others in a deadline-driven environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review test shots with Director/DP
Ensure no files are lost/misplaced
Work with DP to set up and monitor Camera 2 Cloud on Frame.io
Secure and distribute raw media + dailies
Organize footage via metadata/camera reports
Transcode footage for editing
Build project files
Cut assembly edits
Eliminate guesswork when handing off projects
Ensure Camera 2 Cloud is operating without issues.
Communicate with the editor to ensure they have everything that was shot.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Experience on a video production set, specifically in the camera department (3 years)
Extensive knowledge of media and proper offloading
A full understanding of file conversion and proxy workflows
Excellent verbal communication
Personable and professional towards clients, vendors, and crew members
Knowledge of video production gear and terminology
Flexible schedule and the ability to work long and/or irregular hours in various conditions
A valid drivers license and reliable form of transportation

PREFERRED SKILLS:
High attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions.
Excellent organizational skills.
The ability to exercise proper judgment.

Host led series following the progress updates of the homeowners remodeling a warehouse into their home.

Crew is DP, BCam, Audio, AC, Producer and PA.

Must have own kit, with at least 4 lavs and a couple IFBs.

Rate is $600/12 + $400 kit

Short Term Reliable Production Assistant needed for reality shoot in Tuckahoe, NY.

Responsibilities include helping the crew load and unload equipment, assisting with appearance releases, lunch/crafty runs, and being of general assistance to the Producer on set. Must be able to lift 45-50 lbs. Previous experience preferred.

The rate is $20 an hour based on a 10 hour day. So you'd get $200 for the day if you work 10 hours or under 10 hours. After 10 hours you get additional pay.

Must be 18 or older with a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, car insurance, and a satisfactory driving record. We cover local mileage reimbursement, but do not cover travel or accommodations.

This position will not need to travel and will work from home. The travel manager is expected to be on call and reachable to troubleshoot any issues whenever someone is traveling for production. Active work hours can be flexible and based on when the travel manager needs to be on call if clearly discussed and cleared with the production team, and so long that all travel is booked and tracking grids are updated in a timely manner.

This position is specifically for remote planning one day shoots in various states and keeping communication going between producers, to production, to post. This is a great gig for someone looking to expand on their skill sets and coordinate fun food based shoots.

Responsibilities:
- Meeting with producers to discuss talent, objectives, and potential locations they would like to film at.
- Using those notes to build a schedule grouping shoots by city to consolidate shoots
- Obtaining location releases from the restaurant owner/talent prior to filming
- Maintain documents on shared drives to keep production up to date
- Hiring local DP audio and PA
- Overseeing media shipment, and clearly communicating with post when footage is arriving
- Keeping producers, production and post all informed of the schedule as it changes
- Reconciling credit card statements and petty cash for your team
- Sending out call sheets
