Local PA needed in Peebles, OH. The Muse is looking for a PA to assist our Videographer during an onsite shoot on 10/23-10/24. The PA's main duties will be helping the videographer carry, load, set up and break down equipment. The PA is also responsible for ensuring the shoot stays on schedule, as well as managing potential noise interruptions during interviews.

Rate: $300/day
Travel Expense: Gas covered $0.58c/mile

Requirements:
PA must be vaccinated against COVID-19 and will be required to wear a mask during the shoot
PA must be located within one hour driving distance of the shoot location and own a car.

Seeking qualified and enthusiastic event staff to support the logistics and flow of an exciting tech forward conference in the city!

Support may look like dressing stages with furniture/changing chairs to a different configuration, supporting with registration and check-in with digital kiosks and distributing badges and gift bags or escorting talent to green rooms and stage on time.

Key Responsibilities:

- Registration and Check-In: Assist with attendee registration, badge distribution, and check-in procedures. Provide a welcoming and efficient experience for conference participants.
- Attendee Flow: Ensure smooth traffic flow in and around event areas, including entrances, exits, and common spaces. Address attendee inquiries and assist with crowd management when necessary.
- Stage Changeovers: Collaborate with the production team to facilitate quick and seamless stage changeovers between sessions. Assist in setting up audiovisual equipment and ensuring all props and materials are in place.
- Provide support to speakers and presenters as needed in different locations on site.
- Talent Assistance: Assist performers, speakers, and presenters with any pre-event and on-site needs. Ensure they have the necessary resources and support to deliver their best performances.
- General Event Support: Be an all-hands-on-deck team player, assisting in various event-related tasks, including setup, breakdown, and logistics coordination.

Hours: 7:00am - 5pm
Compensation: $150-175 day rate
Attire: Professional attire required + comfortable shooes

Looking for a PA for 2 days of filming in Hamilton, OH for a renovation show. Dates are 10/10 and 10/11. Filming takes place both inside and outside, so plan to work rain or shine :) Standard PA duties such as Lunches, crafty, releases, BTS photos etc.

We will be in the area again in the upcoming months so there is a chance for more work in the future if you are a good fit.

The photographer is to deliver two matching, full sets of unmarked, processed images within 5 calendar days of the shoot date according to a delineated procedure for file naming and file transfer, with the full folder to follow in 8 business days, in the following formats:

i. High-resolution, full frame flattened jpg at 300dpi
ii. Web-resolution jpg at 72dpi with the longest edge at 1500 pixels.

Our Nebula Production team is searching for a skilled videographer based in Kent, OH to help us produce footage for a digital streaming show, Archeology Quest. In Kent, we are interviewing local professors in the Archeology field at Kent State. We are looking for a creative, adaptive video team who can set up two cameras and cover our interview footage + b-roll/done footage of the university. The work is between October 9th–11th, half-to-full days as our schedule comes together.

"Uses the camera as instructed by the Director. They ensure the required action is correctly captured in the frame and must react instinctively as the proceedings take place. The camera operator also helps establish the theme and appearance of the show. Must have reliable transportation.

The Camera Operator must be experienced in camera operations in fast-paced, live conditions. Sports production knowledge is a plus.

Camera Operator responsibilities include:

We are a small crew from Los Angeles shooting a short film in a historic house in Ottawa Hills, OH. We work in the industry and are inspired by the works of David Lynch, Wim Wenders, and Paul Thomas Anderson. The short displays a slice of life in an Idyllic Suburb in Ohio, and functions as a proof of concept for a feature-length film we are developing. There will be a mixture of indoor and outdoor locations with the majority of dialogue taking place indoors. This is a labor of love and is being funded out of pocket; we are in need of someone who can run sound for our shoot. We're flexible and would love to discuss further if this position is something you'd be interested in.

-Go on runs as directed by the field manager
-Always get itemized receipts from any vendor and hold on to it until you can safely pass it off to the field manager
-Help set up tables, chairs, and tents as directed
-Keep set clean and tidy at all times
-Safely lift and carry heavy production supplies and equipment cases
-Communicate regularly with the field manager when on off site runs
-Sanitize and charge walkie batteries as directed

We are looking for a union Jib Tech for a 1 day shoot. Job duties include:

-Assist Jib Op with build and breakdown of Jib
-Spot and support jib op while shooting
-Assist Jib op on any jib moves
-Break as directed by field manager
-Report to set by call time received the evening before
-Be responsible for all of your own supplies.
-All other duties as assigned

We are looking for a union jib operator for a 1 day shoot. Job duties include:

-Supply 15ft arm jimmy jib, unless a different length has been specifically confirmed with production
-Supply fiji zoom controls for the Fuji 24x7.8 BERD lens and confirm in working order before reporting to set
-Build and breakdown Jib
-Set up and break down your own camera each day
-Shoot scene coverage, beauty shots and B-Roll as guided
-Be mindful of the other crew, Talent, and crowd on site
-Work safely and efficiently to complete each days outlined shoot schedule
-Break as directed by field manager
-Report to set by call time received the evening before
-Be responsible for all of your own supplies.
-All other duties as assigned

We are looking for a Swing G&E for a 1 day shoot. Job duties include:

-Set up stands and lights per the DPs direction
-Be ready and waiting for quick run and gun lighting moves
-Safely run cables from generators
-Be mindful of the other crew and Talent on site
-Work safely and efficiently to complete each day's outlined shoot schedule
-Break as directed by Field Manager
-Report to set by call time received the evening before
-Bring negotiated rental grips items to set
-Do not plug into or adjust the family's power sources without permission from the family
-Help unload and pack up lighting equipment
-Be responsible for all of your own supplies
-All other duties as assigned
