Job Summary/Description:

**** Territory News is looking for a full-time producer. Come work in our state-of-the-art studio in the beautiful Black Hills! Our ideal candidate is a leader with solid news judgement, intelligence and energy, plus a creative vision for what it takes to produce engaging newscasts.

Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

- Deliver on-air news events in an engaging, exciting, and accurate manner
- Use editorial judgment to help determine the content of the newscasts
- Work with reporters and news team to create unique, fast-paced newscasts
- Use social *** to determine the content of newscasts and highlight big social stories

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Degree in broadcast journalism preferred. English majors and print journalists are encouraged to apply.

Job Summary/Description:

We are looking for a self-starter and someone with a proven track record covering state politics and a proven track record of developing relationships with lawmakers and key staff. We are looking for a journalist who can dive into the data and tell impactful stories that hold elected officials and state agencies accountable. This journalist must have the ability to show how these stories impact our viewers. Coverage will be on-air, live or taped, and on digital platforms.

Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Works with news directors and assignment desks to determine, plan and staff all important stories of state-wide politics
• Collaborates with all stations daily to communicate coverage plans and newscast goals
• Must be able to develop and maintain a network of sources and experts at all state agencies and with all political parties
• Must have ability, during election years, to travel throughout the state with candidates for races selected in collaboration with the supervising news director

Job Summary/Description:

The Chief Engineer is responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of all equipment. This includes Audio, Video, RF broadcast gear, and critical IT systems. This position is also responsible for facility maintenance and management. This includes all building and grounds maintenance needs, broadcast tower maintenance, and remote transmitter site maintenance. The Chief Engineer makes sure that all FCC rules and regulations are followed and the station is in complete compliance with the FCC and FAA.
