The Job: The Senior Editor and Content Strategist will join the Foundry 360 Content Licensing team. This award-winning, growing team helps our clients power their digital, print, and social channels with premium content from America's most i *** uential brands, including *** ter Homes and Gardens, EatingWell, Health, Real Simple, and Dia *** ic Living . You will play a crucial role in creating content-leading programs-especially in the areas of health and wellness-that help clients connect with users on the topics that matter most. Reporting to the Editorial Director of Foundry 360, the Senior Editor and Content Strategist should be well-versed in content strategy, have deep experience with sourcing and managing freelancers (especially those with an expertise in health, nutrition, wellbeing, and/or behavior modification), be equally comfortably editing, writing, and researching under tight deadlines. A passion for listening to and working closely with clients is a must. Also, incredibly important: collaborative spirt, curious nature, and sense of humor.
Essential Job FunctionsProvide creative expertise on RFPs and new business opportunities with regard to licensed and custom content proposals
Think strategically; listen closely to clients' needs and respond with smart, engaging, results-driven content solutions that grow audiences and prompt people to take action
Identify/manage freelance writers, copyeditors, specialists (such as nutritionists, oncologists, and behavioral psychologists), fact-checkers, copyeditors, and other editorial resources.
Oversee the delivery of *** licensed content to clients. This includes:
- Maintaining and updating the ever-growing *** content database, which is stocked with articles, videos, infographics, and more from top brands-including *** ter Homes and Gardens, Real Simple, EatingWell, Health, and Parents.
- Ensuring that all content is up-to-date and accurate
- Curating content that aligns with a client's needs and objectives
- Writing new headlines, intros, teasers, and tips as needed
- Managing feedback rounds and updates on content
- Working closely with in-house project managers and salespeople to meet deliverables and deadlines
- Managing freelance copyeditors and fact checkers as appropriate
- Delivering all content assets on time
Be client facing when necessary and be a comfortable and capable public presenter
Cultivate close relationships with the editorial staff of all *** Corporation brands
Stay abreast of the latest health, wellness, and nutrition news/trends. Attend conferences, assemble an advisory board of experts in those fields, and seek out resources that offer different ideas and perspectives.

Experience:
- 5-7 years of experience in a *** environment-either in content marketing or in health/wellness/nutrition editorial.
- You understand the editorial landscape and maintain high standards and a sharp eye for detail.
