In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. *** Television Stations (FTS) is one of the nation's largest owned-and-operated network broadcast groups, compromising 29 TV stations, covering over 37% of U.S. television homes in seventeen markets. FTS has an 89%+ nationwide OTT/CTV streaming scale with FLX ( *** Local Extension). FLX is a best-in-class OTT/CTV streaming platform that enables FTS to provide advertisers a powerful combination of digital, streaming and broadcast opportunities. *** O&O TV station markets: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas, San Francisco, Washington, D.C. Houston, Atlanta, Phoenix, Tampa, Detroit, Minneapolis, Orlando, Austin, and MIL****EE.
JOB TITLE: Digital Sales Manager (DSM)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work cohesively with the Sales Coordinator and sales management team on revenue development strategy, P&L / expense management, training, and overall digital & linear revenue production.
• Drive local revenue growth and revenue share in the market. Create new business from outside the traditional *** space.
• Work at a partnership/consultative level as an expert in the digital and OTT/CTV and linear advertising space with account executives, agencies, and advertisers.
• Have an impactful and consistent presence in the local advertising marketplace. This includes consistently being in the field making in-person sales calls.
• Oversight of all digital and streaming sales products, inventory management and pricing strategies.
• Ability to forecast revenue, develop and sustain a business plan to exceed sales revenue budgets.
• Management of the digital & linear pipeline, including the formation of individual Account Executive (AE's) budgets.
• Manage, coach, train, support and motivate the team of local AE's and the Sales Coordinator and Sales Assistants.
• Create a sense of team with the AE's and help with prospecting, building plans, negotiating, and closing.
• Brainstorm creative promotions that use the digital, streaming and broadcast assets.
• Develop and deliver best practices for digital knowledge among the sales department and clients.
• Partner with News and Creative Services to support the overall growth of our digital audiences through internal strategic goals.
• Work with the corporate digital team on corporate led sales initiatives and group sales projects.
• Work with third party vendors to support digital initiatives including ad operations, creative, marketing services, analytics partners, contesting and email programs, lead generation, search, and others.
• Produce revenue and expense reporting, and other support functions.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

• 5 years or more experience in sales, promotions, or marketing preferred. Digital advertising experience preferred. Sales management experience preferred.
• Ability to translate challenges into opportunities.
• Presentation experience, excellent written and verbal communications essential.
• Creative thinking essential.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, manages time wisely, and prioritizes projects and people.
• Strong computer skills, ability with PowerPoint, screen sharing, Excel, and social *** .
• Basic understanding of ad tags, analytics, and campaign tools.
