Joshua Deal

I developed this short film alongside writer and executive producer Pablo Velez. Production happened during summer of 2019 and it screened at festivals in 2021. The film was produced by Tif Hassler, Clay Hassler and Josh McGowan. The Production companies that created the film are Peeplz Champ, Wet Paint and Big Deal Productions.

Producer and Director of films, commercials, and videos. Based in the Nashville area and managing a slate of independent films and corporate video contracts.

I was a producer on this short film. Gear Seven Creative was the production company for the film. It was written and directed by Josh McGowan. The film was released in May 2018.

While at Nashville based Aspiration Media I focused on distribution and grass roots film marketing for independent films. I managed a distribution slate at the company. While at the company we distributed documentary films HITTING THE APEX, THE GREAT ALONE and WORSHIP NIGHT IN AMERICA.

I focused on film development, story editing and reviewing film packages for financing. While at the company we produced and financed THE SPECTACULAR NOW, MATEO and developed two original screenplays with writer and director Taylor Sheridan.
