Andrew Giannetta DP'd my latest feature, Purgatory Road, in Mississippi in December 2016. I had worked previously with Andrew on TV-related projects, but hired him (in my producer/director capacity) to DP and operate on this horror film.
Working w ...MORE... ith a tough schedule, Andrew's work was superb and of the highest quality. His attention to detail and willingness to push every set-up resulted in a beautifully shot film that was delivered on budget and on time.
Andrew's familiarity with both middle-level and high-end cameras and lenses impressed me greatly, as did his ability to take a brief, collaborate on a style, and execute that brief consistently. As Andrew has had considerable lighting/gaffering experience in addition to operating experience, his ease with members of the camera and lighting department made the process of shooting fast and hassle-free.
I'll be using Andrew again on my next picture.
