Andrew Hirsh

This was a solo project in which I documented the growth of a local park in Burlington, NC. I interviewed local residents and employees, and shots lots of footage of the park itself over the course of several months.

Served as a co-director and the Director of Sound for the short film "Namaste," which was filmed in Alamance, NC. I directed 3 of the 7 scenes and directed the sound throughout the the project. In post-production, I mixed all of the audio in Pro Tools and Final Cut Pro 7.

Recorded footage of National Hockey League players, coaches and executives in situations ranging from sit-down interviews to post-game press conferences to actual game action. Presented the video as a documentary on how the NHL is growing in the city of Raleigh, North Carolina.

Recorded and engineered all the audio for a Doritos commercial contest submission. Our video averaged 3.5 out of 5 stars in the voting, which was among the very best.

Ran an independent program at Elon University titled "True Life: Elon" in which students, faculty and staff were profiled over the course of seven shows. Each person was followed for a day to give our viewers a glimpse into their professional and personal lives.

Produced an on-campus improv show titled "Train Wreck." The program lasted for three episodes, and was shot in Elon's state-of-the-art television studio. Additionally, I was one of three editors on the project, and used Final Cut Pro 7.
