I began working as a freelance camera assistant during university, and progressed from small shoots to bigger commercials, and various 6 or 10 part TV series. I worked in a variety of capacities on broad range of projects, progressing from runner to camera PA, to assistant camera.

I spent 6 months working on this IFTA nominated soap / drama series. A very fast paced multi-cam set up, shooting on average 20 pages per day. I was responsible for assisting A and B camera operators; assisting focus pullers with marks; setting up video village; and administrative tasks for the camera department.

This 6 part series demanded a small and diligent crew. I assisted the director of photography with lighting set ups, camera set ups, cabling video village for multi-cam set up, and dolly tracks.
