Having been a professional project manager for many years, he knows what it means to bring in a project on time, under budget and with good humor. Alexandro has done voiceover; he has the presence of an actor, but without the attitude. Having said this, he wears his talents well. Approachable and fun, he is a generous spirit and an exceedingly hard worker. He is poised, but somehow you never see him sweat. He is easy to be around and always gets the job done. Always.
Alexandro is a master of detail and natural born problem solver: meeting deadlines, schedules and budgets Happily dealing with paperwork of any kind, he takes these things in his stride. He is wonderful with people, and collects friends and colleagues like human Velcro. He is a great supervisor, and on the flip side knows what it means to work for a supervisor. He is organized to a fault and never saw a piece of paper he could not tame.
A straight "A" student at BMCC, Alex worked in Cuba on a linguistic project set for co-publication with one of his professors from the CUNY Graduate Center. Alexandro speaks both English and Spanish fluently and is at home in both cultures which prepares him for the coming decades of Spanish language dominance in global media.
Based on his work in my classroom as a student and then as my Supplemental Instructor, I wrote, what was for me, a very rare letter of recommendation to NYU's Kanbar Institute of Film and Television.
