• Locate and secure approval for the scene locations, as well as plan and organize scheduling for the locations. • Organize and assist with casting, and coordinate communication with cast and crew. • Sent out documents (release form, script, schedule shoot dates) to cast members to keep them up-to-date. • Assist the director in all microphone placements. Ensure proper positioning of the microphone to record the quality sound. • Anticipate when to move the boom and move with the camera operator to follow the action, holding the boom steady and high.
