I'm the DP for this web series about the keepers and animals at the Smithsonian National Zoo in Washington DC. I shoot the series on my Sony PMW-F5 with a small crew, just myself, a Producer/Director, and a Sound Recordist.

I was the First AC on this reality show about fur trappers living in the wilderness of AK. I handled all technical aspects of the Sony F5, PMW-300, Cabrio 19-90, DJI Ronin with 5DMKIII, and Sony A7S. I was in charge of data management and backup as well.

I shot race day coverage of the "elite athletes" during the swimming portion of the race, then hopped off my boat and captured more footage of the masses during the bicycling and running portions of the race. I also cut bumper packages from my footage for the program.

Built the package (F5, Preston Wireless FF, Teradek Wireless monitoring, shoulder rig), drove the gear to Baltimore, prepped the kit for our DP, pulled focus wirelessly while he shot hand held, and ensured that all the equipment was returned to the rental house intact and on time.

I prepped the RED Epic package, built the rig for our DP, assured that the correct format and frame rate was used, downloaded the footage on set as Data Manager, and cycled batteries as needed. I packed up the camera at the end of the shoot as well.
