My primary responsibility was to find an abandond building that was legal to shoot in and not a safety hazard. I was given two weeks to complete this, with the location within an hour of Boston, MA. The video called for long dark hallways as well as dreary and isolated open spaces. I found our location in Norwood, MA at an old textile mill that is no longer running. I achieved this within the budget and timeframe I was given, and did an extensive amount of research on this and numerous other places in the Greater Boston Area. Because the location was exactly as needed, there weren't many changes to the area that needed to be done, but other duties included ordering colored contact lenses and a haze generator for visual effect.

This was a three day job, where myself and my art director handled every aspect of the artistic production, from purchasing the supplies to adding the final touches before the skit was run. The main focus of the job was to hide several hidden cameras of various sizes so that the clients would be spoofed for the commercial. We also put the set together and worked with the electrical team to hide their wires as well.

We staged two scenes for a commercial in a Boston apartment for a hangover-cure drink. One scene was set in a male's bedroom, and we converted it into a female's bedroom after a night of drinking and partying. This involved redesigning the room and adding in props like bedroom accessories, pizza, and even a live chicken. The second scene was set in the living room, hallway, and other bedroom of this apartment. We transformed it into a chic party setting, with a bar area included, adding in a surprise twist to the plot of the commercial by converting the second bedroom into a "dark room" of sorts, sex swing included. Other duties I had during the day was carrying heavy gear into the apartment, blacking out logos that would be seen in the shots, making mixed drink props, and deconstructing the scenes, putting them in their original integrity.
