Phil is an amazingly talented camera operator. His skill with the steadicam is such an enormous asset to have as a person who comes with wonderful handheld skills as well as remote heads, and underwater work. His ability to quickly adapt to actors an ...MORE...
d directors decisions made on set regarding movement and blocking is extremely helpful as well. To top it off he's a very experienced director of photography with multiple features under his belt. So his understanding of light and its importance is such a key piece to how much he's able to provide to a production beyond his skill of operating a camera, no matter what the platform is.
