The weekend following the Leadville 100 Bike Race, is the foot race. For this event, I stayed on site to manage media and gear, as well as edit our recap videos of each day's events.

I was one of several camera's that shot a variety of events happening at one of the largest sports conferences/competitions in the world. Each night I would ingest and organize all the media from the day, and produce a 2-3 minute recap of the days events.

Edited several of the pre-produced videos that were broadcast during the live event. I shot/edited the daily recap videos of the qualifications. And I helped edit the 30-minute documentary that was featured on Altitude Sports, a month after the event.

Edited several acts from later episodes of Guy's Chance of a Lifetime.

Edited a fun show that brought heart-warming stories to familiar house hold objects, in the spirit of "How It's Made."

The largest gravel bike race is each June in Emporia, KS. I was out on course shooting action shots of the race, as well as on-the-fly interviews with contestants and spectators. Each night, I would manage all the media from several camera operators and create short recaps of the day's events.

In the spirit of NPR's "Tiny Desk," Red Rocks Amphitheater presents: Trailmix. A private interview and/or performance by bands set to take the stage at Red Rocks. My role is secondary cameraman and editor.

Writer, director, editor and co-cameraman for a travel series currently in development. The show follows Trish Wilcox as she travels the world in her own style; searching for the human connection along the way. Show is set for a fall 2020 release.

The annual Breck Epic stage race in Breckenridge, CO takes place each August. For 6 days, riders race over 40 miles in harsh, high altitude conditions. My role was secondary camera operator as well as editor for the daily recap videos (I also got burritos for the team each morning :)

Was asked to put together a music video for the first single by producer, Nick Elliot. They wanted a quick turn around to coincide with the song's release. This project was especially challenging because the artist didn't have any footage to provide for the video. So I spent hours online, searching for free stock footage to create this video. I did the best I could to construct a theme and a story using footage I found all over the internet. The result was well received and I'm quite proud of how it turned out.

While in New Zealand I was hired by a well known videographer to edit a project he had recently filmed. He partnered with the outdoor touring company Backcountry New Zealand and followed two Americans on a hunt for New Zealand's red stag. The video was used as promotional footage for Backcountry New Zealand, as well as a private recap video for Howard and Bucky Stein - the two Americans.

I was fortunate to find work editing while I was traveling in New Zealand. An American woman had had an unfortunate injury which prevented her from finishing this video, which had an upcoming deadline. I was happy to step in and help her finish it. It required me learning the latest version of Final Cut on the spot, and reworking her 25+ minute video down to 15-18 minutes. The video highlights the use and effects of lead ammunition while hunting in Montana.

Began my career in the video production world as a night-time assistant editor; pushing tapes and transferring media. In those first years working at Citizen Pictures, and with the constant encouragement and support of my superiors, I excelled up to lead assistant editor. This came with the responsibilities of overseeing the organization, ingestion, and quality control of almost every show we produced, from pre-production to post-production. In 2014, I took the initiative to demonstrate everything I had learned as an assistant editor, carefully watching the work of the full-time editors for years, and presented my own work as an editor. For four years I worked on many shows and collaborated with many of our brilliant producer and editors. I honed my skills while trying to absorb everything I could from those who are more experienced than me. From segment editing to the locking of entire episodes, I worked hard to deliver the best product to our producers and to the network. I also brought with me all my knowledge as an assistant editor, and was able to problem solve through many of the issues that might stall other editors. It was an amazing opportunity to work with, and for, such creative minds and talented editors and producers.

Short, corporate promotional video for a tactical equipment store in Denver. The company shot all of their own footage, but needed a professional to edit together some short videos.
