Rugged Productions is a start-up, television production company in the process of selling it's first unscripted show production. As a work in progress business, the role of "Executive Producer of Unscripted Development" carries with it a number of additional responsibilities, on top of the usual responsibilities of unscripted concept development, including new business development, managing and creating internal workflow infrastructure, as well as negotiating, finalizing and securing project funding and corporate financing via project co-productions, business partnerships, and other financial agreements. Furthermore, as the Executive Producer of Unscripted Development, Chris is also tasked with running and managing all aspects of concept development from building and overseeing his creative teams, to maintaining and expanding strong networking ties, to pitching concepts, seeking distribution and/or securing sponsors, co-producing partnerships, and/or all other factors required to craft, develop, pitch and sell unscripted content.
Summary
Was fortunate to land my first job in entertainment at a local news station in Omaha, NE back in 1997. I did everything they'd give me the chance to do. Since then I've gone on to produce over 40 television series include 14 number 1 hit shows.
