I worked closely with producers to craft rough cuts from both raw material and string outs. I wrote sound bites. I addressed network notes for fine cuts, and also locked cuts when the supervising editor wasn't available to. The show is formatted, but as the editor, I was given quite a bit of creative freedom to enhance a number of emotions in the stories that make up each episode. It was a fantastic experience!
