Zach Travis

I do occasional freelance work for the On-Air Promos department for Logo network at Viacom. Mostly this consists of using final cut to pre-edit upcoming promotions.

I work as an assistant with the content partnerships (acquisitions) department of this Cinetic Media company. With FilmBuff I actively help track and research new films for distribution by monitoring industry news and festival announcements. I also act as a general office assistant.

During this internship I participated with all aspects of creating a promotion from writing the script to finding music to editing the final spot. Furthermore I transcribed raw footage, digitized tapes, and laid-off final promos. I also maintained Logo's promotions archive library.

With this marketing company I served as an assistant to EVP Zachary Soreff. I also brainstormed with the creative department to develop campaigns for film and TV clients. Furthermore I helped with the sales department and managed the company's social media presence while helping with new business development.

With this company I acted as a general office assistant for Owner/Producer Michael Mailer. On top of that I provided script coverage and wrote the occasional press release for the company.
