Planning and advising on gear needed for a live broadcast to our satellite channel. This position also involves managing the maintenance of the current post-production equipment and planning for future projects in the post-production environment to support the editors in the facility.

I was responsible for the set-up of al video production equipment on Sunday mornings and directing the service once we started. We had multiple TV's around the building that received a line cut as well as the live stream. I helped design the video production system and performed the maintenance and troubleshooting when needed.

I worked directly with editors, marketing and the TV producer to produce projects for a weekly TV show and the companies website. I would provide project details to the editor, set deadlines and help make content decisions to support the TV producer. Had weekly meetings with the show team to update them on current projects and make sure they had everything they needed to work efficiently.

I performed the line edit for a weekly TV show. This included trimming the content to time, smoothing out audio edits and stumbles, color correcting the footage and creating graphics. I would also ingest the show media and prep for weekly edit. Once the edit was done I would master the show (exporting files, running timelines to tape, archiving project files).
