For eight months, I worked as a cinematographer on a small production crew following the 2016 presidential primary elections. Working in small groups and often flying solo, I attended endless political events while traveling throughout the country, following each candidate's campaign. Funded by First Look Media, the footage was used for the Vanity Fair series 'Nomination', as well as Fusion's 'Primaries'. Ultimately the footage will be released as a feature-length documentary, also entitled 'Primaries', directed by AJ Schnack.

Ultimately the footage will be released as a feature-length documentary, also entitled 'Primaries', directed by AJ Schnack.

For two days I served as a PA/Driver, making gear pick-ups throughout Manhattan/Brooklyn on the first day, then assisting with various production tasks and standing-in as talent throughout the second day, as well as driving talent between locations.

On multiple occasions through 2015, I accompanied a small production crew as they filmed a documentary featurette chronicling the recording of James Taylor's first studio album in over ten years. I photographed live studio sessions, private recordings and other behind-the-scene moments for use in the album and as accompaniment to the film production.

For two weeks, I co-instructed a youth intensive workshop on documentary storytelling. Students learned the basics of filmmaking, photography and audio production, as well as the methods and aesthetics behind each. They then focused on the media of their interest and produced short films or photographic essays that explored a local story of their choice.

Throughout week-long and multi-week intensive workshops, I supported instructors’ daily classroom needs and ensured that student's expectations were met. I was employed by both the filmmaking and the photography departments and gained invaluable skills through each.

For two, fast-paced days, I served as the G&E Swing on the production of two music videos for the Boston-based hardcore band Vanna as we moved between multiple sets of varied setting and concept.

As a team participating in the 48 Hour Film Festival, I served as the cinematographer and co-producer on a fast-paced, dramatic short produced on a shoe-string budget, completed and delivered within two days.
