Assisted Art Director with preparing set for different camera set-ups, including setting up furniture, laying carpeting, preping set dressing and cleaning construction debris.

Went on runs for Production, set up Craft Services, set up and adjusted lighting and rigging equipment, worked with generator power, set dolly track.

Created lighting set ups in collaboration with the Director of Photography, ran the slate, set-up marks for the actors, assisted with changing camera lenses on a Canon 7D, and pulled focus.

Wrote, produced, directed and edited a short horror film for the Mid Ohio Film Association's Three Weeks of Terror contest. I also ran sound for the majority of the shoot using a Sennhauser shotgun microphone and a Zoom H4n mixer.

Recorded and monitored levels of dialogue and location sound on a busy construction site using a two microphone set up (Seinhauser ME 66 shotgun mic w/ boom and a Lavalier mic) into a Zoom H4n.

Set and manipulated various lighting equipment including 8x8 superbounce, 4x4 silver reflector, diffusion and silk flags. Assisted in the setting of various small ARRI lights up to 550 W, the construction and preparation of the camera slider, and driving the equipment van.

Combined certain responsibilities of a set PA while working closely with the grip and electric department and assuming much of the responsibilities of a grip, including setting and adjusting lighting equipment and operating the boom lift used during certain set-ups.
