Tanna Tarpley

I produced short documentaries for VICE's Digital platforms. I developed series ideas to run on our YouTube platform which involves interviewing, drafting budgets and heavy story producing. I saw projects from start to finish and are ultimately responsible for every aspect of production.

- Produced all third party archival content for numerous projects at a time including for branded, digital and broadcasted content - Negotiated with vendors, researched and use selective archives/ partnerships to garner the best and unusual material - Heavily assisted in the creative content of pieces with minimal budget- brainstormed ideas of new strategy and approach to a purely archival narrative - worked directly with story producer to help create most historically accurate and sourced script and storyline

- Assisted on the field during shoots, helping arrange interviews and pick ups as needed - Managed location, appearance and material releases throughout duration of production - Assisted in post, coordinating all documentation and in editorial process

- Works in post-production, screening footage and assisted in altogether development of all documentaries - Assist in editing processes to help generate various docu-series’ and produce content - Managed and supervised several production associates - Used AVID to edit and package entire series’ deliverable for distribution - Help manage contracts with third party licencors and coordinate field production accommodations
