• I apply my accumulated knowledge of politics, business, economics and television production to produce live shots for air on Fox Business Network. • Gather news and video material from the White House, Capitol Hill, Federal Reserve, Treasury and other entities to produce reporter live shots, guest interviews, and live events for the network • Oversee the editing of live and pre-taped reporter packages for broadcast on FBN’s air. Select appropriate video and sound to tell a story. • Watch or attend briefings, hearings, news conferences and speeches. • Coordinate and produce FBN special coverage of events such as the G20 Economic Summit in Buenos Aires, elections and exclusive sit-down interviews with senior business leaders and government officials (up to and including the President of the United States.) • When FBN is assigned Financial Pool duties in Washington (to cover, for example, notable Federal Reserve or Treasury events) I serve as Pool Producer, broadcasting in real time those events for the entire network Pool. • Conduct interviews on camera and over the phone. • Arrange travel, hire and credential crews, book studios and transmission as necessary.

• MSNBC New York’s liaison and primary point of contact with NBC News’ Washington DC Bureau; • From the heart of the newsroom, executed the rapidly changing editorial plans of MSNBC’s show teams by coordinating and executing all DC correspondent and guest requests as they changed by the hour; • Monitored and responded to breaking news, anticipating and accommodating DC-based coverage needs in collaboration with MSNBC's leadership and the NBC News Assignment Desk; • Constantly communicated with control rooms about breaking news, live events and tape that the network might wish to play straight to air; • On many occasions, rapidly improvised solutions to problems that might otherwise have had negative on air results; • Constantly communicated with Field Production teams about editorial changes impacting crew positioning, stakeouts, guest bookings, camera sources and communications. • Ensured that the network's New York ingest/DMC department rolled on all important live event, Pool events and tape feeds as they unfolded out of Washington; • Assisted in the planning of next day’s news coverage based on a deep understanding of the U.S. political landscape and the Executive, Congressional and Supreme Court calendars; • Participated in daily editorial meetings with MSNBC Live News, NBC News and Washington Bureau leadership, offering story pitches and news coverage solutions when requested; • As required, volunteered to field produced live correspondent coverage and newsgathering for MSNBC in an around Washington, DC, booking guests and filming live shots on the run (eg.: http://www.msnbc.com/msnbc-news/watch/a-new-role-for-a-television-star-932863555718
