Dylan DeGeorge

I was the head of the camera department. I was responsible for the physical aesthetic of the the shot composition. I was also the camera operator for the short film. I worked collaboratively with other crew members to help bring the directors vision to life.

I spent 3 months with AVP interning as a production and post production intern. I spent time lighting sets, setting up sliders and jibs, and worked with Adobe Premiere. The production company, American View Productions, uses video to raise awareness of local non profits in the area of Bridgeport, CT.

I was a producer and editor for a 48 Hour Film Project. In addition to this i was the team leader for the event and was responsible for organizing our cast and crew. This experience taught me a lot about how important organization and preproduction are to the creative process.

I currently run a freelance photography and videography operation that offers many different options for visual storytelling. I have helped produce, direct, and edit on many different documentaries, short films, and narrative films. Some of my responsibilities include - Developed brand strategy - Full digital workflow - Diversifying demographics - Knowledge of NLE's and Adobe Suite - Utilizing storyboards to further concept development

I was exposed to a variety of tasks including; location outreach, location scouting, PA work, equipment rentals, travel arrangement, and finding props for episodes. The majority of my workload was similar to an office production assistant while i still gained experience in other relevant fields.
