I can't recommend her services enough and look forward to working with her again myself.

I am delighted to write this letter of recommendation on behalf of Akilah Scales, whom I have known since January of 2020. I am an independent filmmaker and head of justMADproductions. On my most recent directing venture, S ...MORE... ilhouette, Akilah greatly assisted me in completing the film by serving as a Line Producer, Locations Manager, and Assistant Casting Director. We collaborated on the project from the Fall of 2020 through July 2021. Throughout the duration of this project, Akilah was there whenever I needed her and was a key member of the Silhouette team.
Akilah was critical in securing locations for this film, as well as securing cast members. Akilah has an incredible eye for location scouting. She was able to produce a wide array of options for sets to use on my film, catering to every minute description I provided her, and further narrowing it down to locations that fit within the film’s budget. She was able to provide new selections in the blink of any eye, even there were last-minute changes. For example, we had a supporting actress and three extras drop out of our production at the last moment. Within two days, Akilah was able to procure strong replacements for all four characters. It goes without saying that such a versatile, knowledgeable, and solution-oriented individual is hard to come by and is well sought after on any team.
Overall, Akilah would be an incredible asset to your team because she is hardworking, resourceful, and above all, a positive presence on any set. I can confidently say that without Akilah’s support and strong work ethic, Silhouette would not have finished filming this summer. I strongly believe she will make an excellent addition to any production or company. If you need to contact me, I can be reached at justmadproductions@gmail.com. I will be happy to answer any questions that you have.
Sincerely,
Micah Demby
