Jennifer Wells

I helped with researching cases, finding facts, contacts, and story points to all the cases we were covering. I worked closely with the Production Manager and assisted her with prepping travel, I prepped the gear, accounting, purchases, traveled into the field, and I would DIT when needed. I also worked closely with the recreation Production Manager. I cast the entire recreations, I helped build and dress sets, handled lunches for the cast and crew, I also kept track that what we were shooting was correct to the story.

Along with researching cases I worked closely with the Production Manager. I assisted her with accounting, runs, purchases, airport drop offs and pickups, I helped prep gear for travel, and I created travel sheets. I ran drives for post and handled delivering releases for the show. I assisted the recreations team as well.

I would take care of responsibilities such as craft services and office supplies. I helped out on multiple shows in production. I assisted the Coordinator with accounting and runs. I also ran drives for Post.

This was a student project. I was the producer, writer, DP, and editor of the piece. I wrote, cast, arranged the shoot, shot it on a Canon 7D, and edited it in premiere. My friend who played Skooty, color corrected and did a little sound design for the piece.

Our senior capstone was a thirty minute narrative piece that tackled the subject of sexual assault on campus. My responsibilities on this project included: casting, scheduling shoots, creating call sheets and equipment/prop lists. I also was responsible for communicating with our executive producer, director, cast and crew; to make sure all shoots went as planned and stayed on track. Along with being a producer I was the writer and script editor for the piece.

I was the producer on this piece. My job was to edit the script, cast the project, schedule the shoots, communicate with my crew and cast, make an equipment and prop list, and communicate with campus police the when and where we were shooting. It was a night shoot and was very cold out so I also made sure to bring items for everyone so nobody froze to death.

This was a student project that I was the director of photography for and ended up becoming the editor as well. My job was to scout the location, block the scene, light the scene, as well as upload all the footage to Adobe Premiere and edit the piece into a rough cut, get feedback from our executive producer, then re work it into it's final version.
