I lead a two camera field team on six episodes shot in six cities across the country. Pre-pro consisted of working out the story and cooking process details and prepping the restaurants for the shoot. In the field, I was responsible for obtaining the footage needed to tell the story. We also tried to capture the culture of the city and its food scene.
Summary
I have had the pleasure of working in the television industry since the late 80's, primarily in the reality television sector with a focus on D-I-Y, makeover and food programming.

I accompanied the field team on a seven day shoot around the Twin Cities working with the field director, consulting on the content being gathered as well as conducting person-on-the-street interviews. For the following five weeks, I poured through the footage and crafted the stories for this voice over driven series. This was done as a paper edit, although I did work with Avid to a small degree.

I build out segments from the raw footage to create the storyline. I also write any narration needed to flesh out the story. We use Premiere Pro to rough cut the segments and also provided a paper transcription of the piece.
