Conducted outreach to cast engaged couples for a USA Network wedding show, and then interviewed the couples over Skype to create casting sizzle reels.

I worked on development and casting for a variety of new series. Projects included casting big wave surfers, female fashion designers, doctors, and private investigators. The position entailed research, outreach, cold calls, and phone interviews to screen potential talent. I also produced Skype interviews to create sizzle reels.

I conducted research and outreach to advertising agencies to cast season 2 of AMC's "The Pitch." I then produced both Skype interviews and in-person interviews with advertising agency employees to create casting sizzle reels. With my background as an attorney, I also discussed contract terms with the selected agencies.

I attended dance rehearsal shoots to take notes and then logged sound bites from the shoots. I used the notes and logs to help craft a story line for the taped packages which aired before the live dances and described what happened during the weekly rehearsal sessions.

I reviewed episode cuts for several VH1 shows ("Scott Baio is 45 and Single," "The Pick Up Artist") to send editing notes to the production companies.

I assisted field producers by taking notes during interviews at red carpet events and awards shows. I also reviewed scripts in the Research Department for factual and grammatical accuracy.

I interviewed celebrities live from the red carpet at Teen People's "Hottest 25 Stars Under 25" event.

I worked as a Teen Entertainment Reporter and interviewed the Backstreet Boys backstage at a concert in Portland, Oregon. I also reported on the popularity of the Spice Girls and interviewed Jake Lloyd from "Star Wars: Episode I."
