• Loaded scripts into the correct prompter system via newsroom system. • Scrolled through the script, via a controller, as the anchors read the scripts on air. • Adjust to anchors ad-libbing and not reading the scripts. • Followed show changes and position the script in the correct place in the teleprompter. • Read and followed show rundowns and scripts when necessary. • Formatted scripts to ensure proper functionality of downstream systems. • Ensure the working condition of the teleprompter system and scripts before going on-air. • Worked with on-air talent with different speech patterns. • Worked with producers on scripts. • Adapted to both live and taped productions • Edited and formatted scripts as needed. • Ability to sit for many hours and use a hand controller scroll wheel. • Connect, set up and strike portable teleprompter units in remote applications.
