As the only PA on Masquerade I covered a huge variety of duties on set. I bounced between 1st team PA, Set PA, Background PA, and at times acted as a 2nd 2nd AD on set. This was a full crewed movie of about 40+ crew members so balancing my time among various duties was essential to my success.

As 1st Team PA I received the cast everyday at their call times. I helped to coordinate with the HMU and Wardrobe departments to ensure all cast members were ready prior to their set set call. I also helped with prepping Call sheets and daily Production Reports.

As First team/Basecamp PA I was responsible for helping to manage the talent's schedule. I ensured that first team was landing on time, working their way through HMU and wardrobe in a timely fashion, and was set ready prior to being needed on set. I also helped manage paper work at basecamp for all of first team and worked side by side with our 2nd AD.

In addition to the typical Set PA duties I also helped to manage all of the background both on and off set. Dealing with background counts of up to 100 BG players at a time I helped to approve wardrobe, select who would go to set, and ensure that the correct number of background actors were making it to set. On set I helped to manage continuity and placement with the 2nd 2nd AD.

-As a Camera Operator at the World Horse show it was my duty to film a specific clients performance from the time they entered the ring until the time they left. Clients would be showing their horses with groups as large as 20 other contestants and as camera operator it was my duty to stick on my client and provide them a high quality video for later use in training.

I was one of 3 PA's for GE's newest commercial line of kitchen appliances. Responsibilities included running and stocking the craft services, picking up and serving all meals through-out the day, going on runs to pick up last minute necessities, and doing anything and everything I could on set to assist with production.

Set Production Assistant (Driver and Set PA) Instafame

I split my time between a host of responsibilities. The first week there were no Driver needs so I was acting Background PA. The following 2 weeks of shooting I would split my time between driving shuttle van and helping out as on set as needed. I worked closely with the 2nd 2nd AD and 1st AD. I also worked with them on filling out nightly reports to better train for those positions in the future.

As location's Assistant I was responsible for the upkeep and travel of the Locations Truck. I was responsible for using petty cash to keep supplies fully stocked while also being first on to set and last off. We set up catering areas for crews, warming tents, tents for changing rooms, and prepared signage at each location. This job had additional challenges as it was also primarily night shoots in February in Rochester New York. We were responsible for clearing snow, and preserving any indoor sets.
