Alex Flowers

Responsible for overseeing the completion of three projects from pre through to post. These were a set of TV idents for Galbani, four short pieces for a luxury chocolate brand and a mocumentary for Bosch electronics. My responsibilities ranged from budgeting to client management, casting and actor licensing, to location scouting/management and script writing. I was also responsible for social media and buying targeted advertising space across a variety of channels.

Produced short film for Marine Conservation Charity. Sourced and cleared footage from a range of sources (broadcast archives, social media and youtube). Liaised with senior staff in potential partner charities to secure and clear footage from high-profile photographers. First point of contact for the charity throughout the production

Assisted in the production of 3 hidden camera live action con- tent films for Pizza Express & Virgin Media. Sourced & secured locations, sourced and built props and staging, assisting with camera & lighting rigs. Also involved driving large Luton Vans across London for each stage of the production.

Part of a small team in charge of developing and launching a multimedia European marketing campaign for Jaguar Land Rover. This included being the first point of contact between cli- ent and developers, managing translations and implementation of copy across local markets, organising logistics for a successful launch in several foreign locations and testing the new technol- ogy exclusively created for this campaign. I was also responsible for producing a case study film, creating a story board, selecting DOP and supporting crew, securing access on-site where re- quired, and seeing it through the edit to final delivery.

In-house in a small but busy Commercials production company. My primary roles include website/showreel updates, treatment research & layout, managing and processing invoices, booking travel both domestic and foreign, managing all company ac- counts from taxis and couriers to magazines and subscriptions. During the production process, these extend to managing casting sessions, researching and booking locations & studios, booking crew, travel & accommodation for travelling crew and cast and creating call sheets. Recent work includes clients such as McDonalds, Walkers, Denny’s and Uncle Bens.

Carried out 2 projects with Fresh One, both of which were branded content pieces for online use for Tefal and Hotpoint. Primary roles included assisting the PD on second/third cam- era, data wrangling, transport organisation and client liaison and hospitality.

Primary roles whilst at Remedy included talent research and booking, script writing for broadcast, office management and development research, all for MTV content. Very regular exposure to working in a studio, assisting with lighting and camera operations. While at Remedy I grew very familiar with using and understanding the Canon c300 and Sony pmw200 both in studio and outdoor environments, and basic editing skills with Premiere Pro.

Completed several projects for Lemonade Money, given responsibility for release forms, basic camera operations, finance, securing locations, dealing with equipment rental, transporting crew and talent, artist liaison, as well as aiding lighting and camera departments.
