Camera Operator
I had the privilege of meeting and working with Mitch when I joined Bar Rescue as director of photography. Mitch was the lead camera assist and we worked together for two seasons on a very demanding show. I found Mitch to be much more than a camera a ...MORE...
ssist- he was a consummate problem solver, a quality that's hard to find.
He consistently performed all typical camera assist roles well but was also able to operate a camera for hours on end, light a set, hold a reflector, and even wrangle talent. He did these things not because he was told to but because he wanted to help make the production quality the best it could be- and all with a smile.
Finally, and probably most importantly, Mitch has a wicked sense of humor. No matter how long or demanding a shoot might be, he could have the crew smiling and laughing- all of which made the day go a bit easier.
Since I left the show, not surprisingly, Mitch has gone on to become a full time camera operator. I cannot recommend him enough. If you're looking for a talented crew member that is also an all around great guy, look no further!
