As an Associate Producer I would research and coordinate filming locations, interview subjects and overall episode content. Cold call and secure all filming locations with food processors, farmers, restaurants. Write episode outlines, scripts and supervise editing process. Work with show host to provide pre-filming prep and questions.

As the Coordinating Producer I was responsible for coordinating all filming logistics for a multi-city documentary film including crew, locations, interview subjects, rights clearances, transcriptions, additional photo, video and music licenses as well as supervising post production. We filmed in Harlem, NY, Dallas, TX and Los Angeles, CA. I also oversaw the budget, negotiating crew rates, tracking costs and creating purchase orders.

Hired as post production coordinator and handed 72 field tapes on day one with no labels, post production schedule or editors. I quickly formed a plan, tracked down field notes, worked with staff assistant editors to understand current organizational process to ingest and organize footage for writers and editors.

This was a new online venture showcasing content for airshows. Specifically we were producing a short-form reality docu-follow series with aerobatic pilots. I coordinated crew and locations for the episode content in the pre- and production phases.

Worked alongside editors in post-production to craft episodes for air. I was brought on post-filming.

I lead a small crew on a docu-follow series profiling lifeguards patrolling San Diego Beaches. As emergencies arose, we would cover the action. Similar to my years in broadcast news, I would ensure we had the video and soundbite coverage to adequately tell the story in post production. After a call, I'd conduct field interviews and at the end of each day write detailed story notes for use in post-production.

This project was a biographical documentary featuring Veterans of the 761st Army Tank Battalion, the first Black tank crew to engage in combat in WWII’s Battle of the Bulge. As a local News Anchor/ Reporter I served the desert cities communities of Palm Springs and the greater Coachella Valley. I Anchored the Weekend newscasts at 6pm and 11pm on Saturday and Sunday and filled in during the weekday as needed. I also worked as a General Assignment News Reporter three days a week, covering education, crime, breaking news, politics, economy and any topic as assigned. My reports aired live at 6pm and 11pm and included writing, editing, maintaining and growing local contacts and reporting live for breaking news events.

As a local news Anchor/ Reporter I produced and anchored the weekend newscasts at 6pm and 11pm. I was responsible for assigning reporters, stacking the show, writing all VO's, VO/SOTS and keeping the show on time. Three days a week I was a general assignment reporter, one-man-banding by shooting my own stories on 3/4 and DVCPro gear. I edited packages for the 6pm and 11pm news and would often be responsible for writing several VO's, VO/SOT and anchor lead in and tags. Broadcast news is an intense deadline driven environment. It was imperative to be involved in the community, making connections and building trust to better serve the community.

As a Weekend Assignment Desk Editor, I was responsible for the early morning shift in the newsroom. I would make routine beat calls to city, county law officials, following up on leads from the previous night and assigning reporters and camera operators to stories. I recorded satellite news feeds for use in our newscast and monitored police scanners for breaking news. I briefed show producers on events of the day and where reporters and camera operators were assigned. I assisted writing news stories for air and would edit VO and VO/SOT footage for the 6 and 10pm newscasts.
