RESPONSIBILITIES: Researched, acquired, and licensed all archival/stock footage and stills under extremely tight deadlines, while ensuring historical accuracy and keeping costs under budget. SHOW DESCRIPTION: Multi-episode vérité series following homicide detectives in New Orleans, Atlanta, Tulsa, Minneapolis, and Kansas City. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provided versatile support to five embedded field crews across the country and four post production teams in NYC. Worked closely with producers, legal counsel, and network staff to ensure the program’s rigorous standards were met. Assisted online editors, sound engineers, and post producers throughout online phase and delivery of final episodes. Produced multiple 3-minute episode bonus scenes for show’s website and social media pages. Researched, acquired, and licensed archival footage and stills.

SHOW DESCRIPTION: 1-hour true crime pilot following victims and their families during the parole process for violent offenders. RESPONSIBILITIES: Researched hundreds of violent criminal cases with inmates eligible for parole. Established rapport and cultivated relationships with victims’ families, victim advocates, and victim services departments. Determined parole hearing process in all 50 states, and successfully negotiated access in over 20 states. Assisted showrunner, producers, and field crew in preparation for and during on-location vérité shoots and sit-down interviews.

SHOW DESCRIPTION: 7-episode series following journalist Mikey Kay as he travels the globe exploring extreme and once-turbulent locations. RESPONSIBILITIES: Researched and successfully pitched numerous locations, activities, contributors, interview subjects, and storylines. Wrote creative episode one-sheets for producer and network approval. Assisted showrunner, field producers, director, production manager, and fixers in preparation for on-location shoots. Researched, acquired, and organized all archival footage and stills.

SHOW DESCRIPTION: Sundance Grand Jury Prize nominated, 85-minute documentary exploring the aftermath of the Sandy Hook school shooting. RESPONSIBILITIES: Researched, acquired, transcoded, logged, and organized all archival footage, stills, and audio. Assisted producer in locating potential interview subjects, coordinating shoots, and conducting interviews.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborated with executive producer in developing, refining, and executing show concept and pilot format. Researched and compiled an array of homicide cases for network consideration. Established rapport and cultivated relationships with investigators, attorneys, witnesses, and victims’ families. Advised and assisted casting department in talent search for lead detectives, CSI, and forensic experts. Supervised field production team and co-coordinated two-day chemistry test shoot and five-day pilot shoot, which included re-creations, interviews, and b-roll.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Co-wrote voiceover and on-camera host segments, as well as culinary tips and food facts for lower thirds. Assembled, cut down, and conformed scripts. Served as script supervisor and media wrangler coordinator during five-day shoot. Designed workflow for ingestion, organization, and multi-cam grouping of all tape and file-based media.
