Dan wrote, hosted and edited 8-15 minute videos for Screen Rant on YouTube. They consisted of countdowns, behind the scenes, and general movie content. Common subjects included Marvel movies, Batman, bloopers, celebrities and more.

For this high volume casting, Dan edited down 30 minute interviews into short tapes that included gameplay sections, with photo broll.

Season 2 of Exposure changed the concept to content creators. Dan edited down 30 minute tapes to 4 minute cuts that talked about their experience, dreams and how they do what they do. Tapes included lots of video b-roll, an opening montage, and music.

Dan edited casting tapes and created graphics for this singing show on Fox that tried to get people who wouldn't normally be considered for something like American Idol on TV.

Dan edited down 90 minute interviews emphasizing Bravo-style comedy and over-the-top opulence to sell these fabulous women for new and existing Real Housewives cities.

Edit down 20 to 30 minute interviews of photographers to 3 minute story-based tapes with opening montage and lots of photo b-roll and music.

Dan cut down 30 minute interviews to 4 minute tapes for this competition reality show, with contestants primarily trans, gay, non-binary BIPOC members of Vogue Houses throughout the country and the world.

Edit down 60 minute interviews with big groups and families into 5 minute packages with opening video montage of Christmas Light Displays, photos, and Christmas music.

High volume show, editing down 15 minute interviews into 2 minute pieces with self-submitted singing videos and lip syncs. Also created graphics and templates for other editors, and managed tracking of all editors.

Promo Editor of all wraps for AMC Story Notes including Prime Rewinds which was a summary of the movie playing so far, trivia questions, the show open, bumpers. Also applied all sponsored elements.

Directed and Edited "You Work Hard", a commercial for TBC Corporation, highlighting how it's tires and batteries enable small business owners to work hard because their tires work hard too.

Converted footage from RED Camera to ProRes 422, synced audio using Pluraleyes. Downloaded and installed RED codecs for conversion. Directed Color Correct and Audio Mix, including ADR sessions. Surreal film with horror/Lynchian editing style.

In charge of Post-Production Department for Onion News Network Web Video. Managed workflow for ten designers, editors and assistant editors. Revamped Post-Production workflow to a Graphics Preload Model and scheduled the department as such. Created templates for AEs and Editors in Final Cut Pro to ensure uniformity amongst the shows.

Edit live-to-tape broadcasts of the Tony Barnhart Show as well as promos for sporting events. Cut promos and replays for live college football games to be aired minutes later.

Worked with Apple to create a series of five videos showcasing the ideal customer service interaction for iPad, iPhone and Mac. Also showed the ideal interaction for particular roles in the store such as Personal Shopping and the Anchor role.

Directed/Edited and Produced web show for Food 2. Handled the media management on set as well as directed a three-camera shoot in a traditional cooking show. Edited show together using Multicam in Final Cut Pro.

Edited web series for Kyle Lamont, who would interview bands and film their shows. I would edit the interviews together with the live footage, creating a unified experience.

I was an editor with Post Super responsibilities. I bought the computers, did the tech support, and edited together our original web programming, including final deliverables and conforming to our network specs for web delivery.
