*** ** Official Selection: Tribeca Film Festival/ AFI Docs ** Winner: Real Screen Best Sports Documentary Premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival , selected as closing night film at AFI DOCS, and recently awarded Best Sports Documentary by Real Screen. The film chronicles the NFL Strike of 1987 through the eyes of the Washington Football Team. The team’s replacement players went undefeated during strike games and set up returning veteran players to make a Super Bowl run. In the wake of the film's premiere, public outcry inspired by the film pushed the Washington Redskins to announce they would finally right a wrong that had festered for 30 years. Just months the documentary’s release, public outcry convinced the team to finally recognize the subjects of our film with Super Bowl Rings.

The film was nearly three years in the making and required securing unprecedented access from the Pentagon in order to embed crews in both Kandahar and Helmand, the two deadliest provinces in Afghanistan. Permission to film in the active war zone required more than a year of discussions among producers and four branches of the US Military. Upon gaining access, camera teams filming the stories told in GLORY HOUNDS acquired specialized training before spending six weeks in Afghanistan embedded with these troops.
