Camera Operator The Third Wheel

Setting up and moving equipment. Working with the lighting department and Director to ensure high quality and clear images. Having technical knowledge and communication skills to work with Director and the crew. Rehearsal of blocking and framing to ensure high quality takes. This short film was one of three for which I was a crew member out of several films produced by my Advanced Narrative Field Production class at Northern Illinois University. These shoots took place in Spring of 2020. Due to COVID 19, these films have yet to be edited and finished.

Working with the sound mixer to ensure clear and clean dialogue from the actors. Communicating with the sound mixer to pick up on any technical issues or discrepancies, which are to then be quickly solved. Consistently monitoring audio equipment to make sure that it is all in working order. This short film was one of three for which I was a crew member out of several films produced by my Advanced Narrative Field Production class at Northern Illinois University. These shoots took place in Spring of 2020. Due to COVID 19, these films have yet to be edited and finished.

Nearly a one-man crew for a PSA promoting student voting at Northern Illinois University. I was hired by Laura Vasquez, a professor at NIU, to create the ad. Through this, I maintained daily communication with the professor, my talent, and my PA. I was responsible for writing the script, casting the talent, finding and securing a location, creating a shooting schedule, directing the PSA, and editing the PSA
