Researcher

Staff Position — The Skoll Center for Social Impact Entertainment Details
10/17 – 10/18

At The Skoll Center, I collaborated on The State of SIE, the flagship research project to define, map and codify the emerging ecosystem of SIE. For my assignments, I applied my background in academic research by employing Nexis Uni and other databases to locate primary sources. One of my main assignments was to research prominent celebrity-activists, such as Leonardo DiCaprio and Dustin Lance Black, and synthesize data on their achievements in the SIE space. These deadline-driven assignments pushed me to refine my research process through choice Boolean search strings and efficient extraction of key information from dense studies.
