Set up and break down of each event. Setting up PA's, video monitors, projectors, lighting, pipe and drape.

About every six months Fidelity Investments has a local or non local chef come in to cook for their company in Boston. Their goal is for no child left hungry. The chef will prepare food without a costly price. My job is to set up and operate a robotic camera while the chef prepares and speaks to a small audience.

I set up the video camera, lighting and sound for this. After the interview, their was a question and answer session and I was the Boom Operator for that.

I am responsible for manning a single camera shot with a single guest. I handle the audio and video aspects from micing up the guest, mixing his audio levels, white balancing, setting up the camera and connecting to the Production Line and IFB.

I set up the video camera and ran the necessary cables for it. I was the camera grip for the shot.

For the past three years I have been freelancing through Pix Mix Video Services. I have done shoots with numerous news channels like CNN, CNBC, Al Jazeera English & America, Fox News, MSNBC, PBS and a few others. I've handled guests from Jill Stein to Jim Walsh have been frequent guests to our studio for live shots. I operate the camera and setup the audio by micing the guest(s) and adjusting the audio. I handle the latching of the ifb and production lines in which I call into or get called into. Once in a while I will apply makeup to our guest(s).

I helped setting up and tearing down cameras, running cables and gripping for a handheld camera operator.
