Jennifer Hyslop

I worked in pre-production helping to design the sets and going scouting for set dressing and prop items, hand painting and creating various set decorations and props. During filming we would dress each set on location, then standby on set for further instructions. I also helped as a set PA.

I fulfilled all of the duties of a second AC, slating, camera reports, helped with camera shots and operating, kept track of the ditty bag and all of the equipment.

I operated the camera (Cannon 5D), pulled focus, set up and took down, kept track of all of the equipment, made sure every piece of equipment needed was on set and safe at all times, set up video village.

I worked on the music video for the band Chasing Jonah for one weekend at Valencia. Here we worked on their song “It Wouldn’t Be Right”. I worked as a set PA and also set up craft services everyday.

I worked, performing daily tasks such as making and revising the crew list, reaching out to businesses for donations, making sides, budget, keeping close contact with crew and helping them with any problems or concerns, filing paperwork, and overall assisting Nabila Arbaje, the Production Coordinator and Victoria Alvarez, the Producer.
