Record and mix dialogue, music and sound effects using recording equipment and digital audio workstation. Edit voiceover reels, including dialogue cleanup (removing breaths, coughs, lip smacks, etc). Assist talent in recording new ADR lines. Nudge/place each new ADR line to match to picture in timeline for ADR layback. Prepare for recording sessions by selecting and setting up microphones, creating new session files and cleaning studio as needed. Set up, test and adjust recording equipment for recording sessions; ensure proper usage and tear down equipment after recording session. Manage calendar of recording sessions for the week. Provide students and faculty with sound technical advice and troubleshooting. Audio restoration and clean up of NYFA promos and reels.

Assist the Production Coordinator with filing material and appearance release forms. Plan with Production Coordinator on the various runs for the week. Help on set with various runs and talent pick-up requests.

Assist Production Coordinator with filing material and appearance release forms. Assist the Assistant Editors by transcoding media and labeling/storing lay-back discs. Plan with Production Coordinator on the various runs for the week. Restock all office supplies and crafty as needed. Maintain a neat and clean office and kitchen.

Cleaned up dialogue while removing pops and sibilance from the track.

Added background and sound effects; film was shot without sound.

Recorded and performed sounds for footsteps, clothing noise and sounds that were not salvageable from the original production sound track.

Used digital sound recorders, mixers, boom mics and lavaliers to capture production sound; Cut SFX to picture and recorded footsteps, clothing noise and sounds not captured by production mics. (2nd Place Narrative Short at the 2010 Cal State Media Arts Festival)
