As the 1st AC I built and supported the camera, Ronin 2 gimbal, wireless monitor, and all other support devices. Additionally I was responsible for pulling focus during a series of very kinetic and free flowing shots at a wide aperture.

I worked as the First AC on this production. Responsibilities included building cameras, maintaining batteries, and pulling focus. Many shots included unscripted and unrehearsed gimbal work which required precise focus pulling.

Standard AC/Media manager role. Helped to ensure that production operated smoothly in the field by changing batteries, managing and changing cards, minor lighting setups, etc. This involved supporting two camera operators with a Sony FS7 and FS5, as well as three GoPros.

Using a Sony EX3, I provided coverage of various seminars and lectures over the three day conference.

Supported the Director of Photography by maintaining the camera (Sony FS7), lenses, and accessories. Managed media using Shotput Pro 5, and setup studio monitor for the director.

I was responsible for building and maintaining all cameras, support rigs,drones, lights, and grip equipment on this show. 5+ cinema and professional level cameras were used for this show.

This production took place during three overnight shoots on the Brooklyn Bridge and also in Times Square. The camera was a Sony A7s II with Canon T1.5 Prime Cine lenses. Support rigs used were a manfrotto tripod, a wooden camera shoulder mount, and a Ronin M gimbal.

On this production we utilized an Arri Alexa Mini on a shoulder mount with a bartech wireless follow focus. The majority of the shots were fairly run and gun, in highly populated areas like Times Square and on the NYC subway. The shots in Times Square involved little to no rehearsal and required on the fly focus pulling.

Loaded and Unloaded camera equipment, ran the slate, provided marking for actors, managed batteries and memory cards, assisted with lens and filter changes, managed client/director/1st AC monitors using Teradek video transmitters, pulled focus on a handful of shots.

Assisted two camera ops with changing batteries, memory cards, and lenses. This involved many run and gun set ups, as the talent did ride alongs with Boston PD. Helped to rig a police squad car with lights and GoPro cameras. Operated a Canon 5D on one location.

Duties for this role involved pulling focus; changing lenses, batteries, and memory cards; building the camera (Red EPIC Dragon), and operating approximately 20% of shots with a handheld rig.

Responsibilities included running batteries, RedMags, changing lenses and filters, dolly gripping, and marking actors.

Responsibilities included running the slate, changing batteries, changing memory cards, assisting the 1st AC with focus marks, changing filters ,changing lenses (Rokinon Xeen Cine Lenses), and operating the camera on a handheld rig during one shot. Camera was Red Epic X with Arri FF4 and Arri MB-5 Mattebox.

Operated one of four cameras in a multi-camera studio set up for an american idol style audition episode.

Assisted the Camera Operator with equipment including the DJI Ronin gimbal and the Redrock Micro wireless follow focus. Moved sticks, replaced batteries, switched lenses, and set up lights.

Supported the roaming C Camera in a high intensity 15,000 person rally. Assisted with setup and teardown of Sony PMW-F55 camera, switched out batteries and memory cards, and rotated consistently through three Nikon lenses during the 5 hour event while the roaming from Brooklyn to Manhattan on foot to follow the crowd.

Worked with the C Camera in a 4 camera crew, which roamed throughout a crowded rally to gather coverage. Duties included fast paced lens changes, battery changes, as well as memory card management.

Set up and tear down of Panasonic Lumix GH4, pulling focus, running batteries, operating dolly, changing lenses.

Managed batteries and memory cards for 3 stationary GoPros during the 3 hour event, also operated a Canon 5D MkIII with a Canon 24-70mm zoom lens on a monopod in extreme low light during the 3 hour event.

Assisted the roaming B Camera Operator with changing batteries, lenses, and moving the tripod.

Moved lighting and camera equipment from trucks onto set, worked with DP and Director to design and install lighting on set

I worked primarily as the boom operator on this production, which spanned about 8 days. I enjoyed this role very much and feel that I would be willing to do it more in the future.
