As one of three camera operators at Syfy Wire's live event booth, I was responsible for closeup shots of the guests during each panel. I coordinated with the director and the graphics supervisor to present lower thirds name plates for each guest (sometimes in groups) on the fly despite no predetermined seating arrangements. As the 1st AC my primary responsibility was focus pulling, but my duties also covered the normal gamut that one would expect. I handled the construction and maintenance of the camera and all support systems related to it, including camera gimbals, video transmitters, batteries, and other hardware. This film was shot on a RED Epic over 20 shooting days using Lomo round front anamorphic lenses. Support systems included a DJI Ronin 2 camera gimbal and an RT Motion Mk3.1 wireless follow focus.
