Jasmine Gomez

In the Creative Services department, I handle color for promotional elements across all our brands. Those include Ion, Bounce, Grit, Laff, TrueReal, Defy, with occasional support for Newsy and Court TV. I'm working exclusively on Davinci Resolve.

As a colorist at WarnerMedia Studios, I had the privilege to work with all of the brand partners across entertainment and sports. I used DaVinci Resolve to perform color corrections and grading. Occasionally I tapped into After Effects and Premiere. I built on my understanding of Fusion and Nuke in this role to perform basic compositing. I cut my teeth working in Finishing Rooms as a dedicated apprentice for TBS & TNT. I worked daily with producers, senior colorists, editors, sound designers, and so many more collaborative partners. My former department specializes in original series promos and BTS pieces. Their original series were varied. I've worked on late-night talk shows, animation, game shows, and wrestling in addition to narrative comedies and dramas. In 2018 I was promoted to associate colorist. My work expanded to sports - including NBA All Star Weekend, ELEAGUE, and numerous pieces with Bleacher Report. I also worked closely with TCM, proudly executing all of the color for the broadcast interstitials in the “TCM Presents: Women Make Film” series (2020) and the majority of the interviews for the 2021 TCM Film Festival, including the opening night panel for West Side Story. Occasionally, I worked on the Cartoon Network “Drawn To” series, which was highly collaborative across our department. I’m extremely proud of the work I accomplished in the almost 5 years I was with the company.

I used the Adobe Creative Suite, Flame, and Pablo Rio to support sponsorship and promos for original series on TBS, TNT, and occasionally Fathom Events. - trained upcoming T3s to take over apprentice sessions - worked directly in session with producers, conveyed needs to sound design and graphics - improved production templates and project workflow in AE & Premiere - delivered assets to marketing in a variety of specs - versioned and delivered finals to air via DMI - learned color correction - improved compositing techniques
