-Guided staff through the creative and production processes -Researched and proposed equipment purchasing for 1 Mac workstation and various field equipment -Employed journalistic and documentary storytelling techniques in daily coverage of events and various programs at VISTA -Planned and coordinated production schedules -Developed story ideas; screened footage to select content for assigned video projects; transcribed interview footage -Coordinated, planned, and implemented post-workflows and data asset management and tracking systems, and digital non-linear editing and post production workflows -This work included planning, conducting, setting up, and coordinating approximately 67 interviews with teachers, co-teachers, VISTA staff, campers, school Principals, and sponsors like Northrup Grumman and the Virginia Department of Education A typical day of content coverage included following classroom instruction and capturing interactive science teaching methods offered to school administrators, faculty, and to students. In the summer we host a two-week day camp with some very interesting activities offered to the students which is the bulk of the content we covered. Every aspect of this work has been a highly collaborative effort. We completed a statewide video project during the Summer of 2013 where I worked as a field producer and project manager. -Revitalized and updated a position that had been vacant for a few years -Updated old systems and processes to meet current needs -Edited, converted, and uploaded approximately 10 videos to company site each week -Developed and implemented work flow and work flow charts to track projects -Conducted research to identify speech clips relevant to how each speaker was marketed through Keppler -Administrated and maintained video library on company website -Strategic brand alignment (ensure each video is representative of how we present and position each speaker) -Built three different spec. budgets for building a studio space at a new facility -Authored a "Post-Production Manual" to be used by my replacement *About a year after my departure, I returned for a few weeks to help with some work while they needed an extra hand. This position brought some interesting challenges and opportunities
