Supports the producers, director, and editor in the production and post-production process through archival research, licensing, and production coordination. Coordinates nationwide production shoots by hiring crew members, organizing interviewees, setting up shoots, making shoot schedules, reserving camera equipment, and working as a Production Assistant on set. Provides the astrophysical research for the film while managing the licensing of all archival materials. Spearheads animation by creating references for the external animation company for the films depiction of planets, stars, and space. Manages all deliverables and requests between Ark and PBS/WGBH including writing production summaries, cast biographies, promotional videos/photos, and script transcripts.

Provided research and acquisition of archival materials for the 10 part PBS documentary series" Finding Your Roots" Seasons 4-5 Prepared research briefs on guests ancestral history for producers & story editors for script creation Served producers as a historical fact checker by providing robust academic support for scripts. Assisted in creating the distribution packages needed for broadcast including written summaries, photos, and videos. Organized documents in preparation for mastering episodes / films. Assisted in shoot preparation and acts as an on-set Production Assistant.

Wrote scripts and treatments for documentary, commercials, and narrative projects including ABC-7’s “Built To Last.” Collaborated with six editors and producers in research and creation of segments for story development. Wrote script coverage and obtains rights for media and music. Conducted and transcribed interviews with talent for stories and script creation. Coordinated communication between production staff and external clients for live shoots. Supported lead producer and director in organizing talent, costuming, and schedules for live shoots.

Led the company’s filmmaking branch by writing and producing “Art is Charisma” the web series while working under a SAG New Media Contract.
